  2. *Size

What size should I choose for my business card?

In most cases, we recommend a 2 in. x 3.5 in. business card, since it fits so well in a wallet, purse, or standard business card holder. If you want added real estate, consider a foldover card in one of the two dimensions listed here. Both fold down to the standard 2 in. x 3.5 in. size. Of course, you are free to choose any size you want. These are just our recommendations.

  3. *Color Options

Which color option should I choose?

If you're looking to make your business card stand out and get noticed, we recommend considering a full-color front, especially if your business card contains a photo or other image.

Two-color printing, as its name implies, uses two ink colors. One is typically black, but it doesn't have to be. One-color printing uses just a single color of ink. Again, black is most common, but you can choose a different color if you prefer.

Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal. However, if your budget is tight, a well-conceived two-color or even one-color design can prove an acceptable alternative.

  4. *Paper Choices

Best Options will allow us to choose the most economical paper for your project. Sometimes this depends on if you're printing black ink, digital color or as a 4-color-process.

100 lb. gloss cover provides a glossy finish that reproduces text and simpler graphics well.

14 pt C2S(which means the paper has a gloss coating on two sides) is typically used for our full-color process printing.

16 pt C1S (which mean the paper has gloss coating on one side) gives you a pretty stiff card, and adding an aqueous coating will make it even heavier. The backside of a C1S is easily writable.

Colored paper(including the colored bond, Astrobright, Astroparche, Royal fiber, and Royal linen) are most often used for black or single color printed business cards.

100% Recycled paper are available, just let us know.

    Best Options

Royal Fiber, speckled (available in white, gray, blue, cream or rose)

Royal Linen Cover (available in white, natural or ivory)

Astroparche (available in aged, gold, gray and blue)

Astrobright, bright colors (available in rocket red, pulsar pink, cosmic orange, solar yellow, galaxy gold, terra green, gamma green, celestial blue, terrestrial teal, or stardust white)

100% Recycled Papers (available in white, natural, desert storm, or kraft-brown)

  5. *Aqueous Coating

    What is Aqueous Coating?

Aqueous coating is a clear, protective finish that improves the durability of your printed pieces. Water-based and environmentally friendly, it provides a glossy surface that resists fingerprints and smudges.

Aqueous coating adds a rich quality to any full-color printed item. It's fast-drying and is applied while the paper passes through the printing press.
